Is Tea As Good for the Mouth As People Think?
Tea has long been touted as a savior of the mouth. It is healthier than most drinks and it can help restore balance to an acidic mouth. However, do you know that it also carries danger to the teeth? It is slightly acidic and can leave teeth worse for wear if people drinking it and do not maintain their mouths afterwards. While it is not nearly as dangerous as soda or citrus juices can be, it does still damage the teeth over time. If you want to add tea to your diet, cut down on beverages that have acid or sugar, and make sure to opt for green tea. It does less damage than black tea and improves oral health more, too.
